S. CAMILLO DE LELLIS
1906/10 Tullio Passarelli (1869/1941) for S. Pius X Sarto (1903/14)
“He
introduces a design dimension in the Roman climate different from the pompous
eclectic baroque triumphing in his time. Topics covered are all of great
commitment and include churches in the immediate vicinity of the center of
Rome, schools, convents and the building to the Stock Exchange of Rome in
Piazza di Pietra. These works reveal a plastic research, a linguistic
simplification, great attention in their insertion in the environment, making
them works of high level” (Sergio Lenci)
