of the palace there were two ancient Roman monuments:
The META
ROMULI a pyramid-shaped tomb very similar to the Pyramid of Gaius Cestius called
Meta Remi
The
TEREBINTUS NERONIS consisting of two cylindrical elements superimposed
destroyed at the beginning of the sixteenth century by order of Alexander VI
Borgia (1492/1503)
