The architect born in Split saw in the Greek Roman antiquities an ideal world he wanted to quote in his style
"While the nearby Post Office by Adalberto Libera recall with its smooth whiteness the Cestia Pyramid, the Fasolo's Barracks deals with the rough material of the Aurelian Walls" (Giorgio Muratore)
