connected the then new Prati District, still under construction at the time, with
the center of Rome
The bridge
had many stability issues with various adjustments but it is now very solid
In PIAZZA
DELLA LIBERTÀ (Liberty Square), just a few years earlier connected to the
center of Rome with the bridge, the SOCIETÀ SPORTIVA LAZIO was born on January
9, 1900
It is
the largest sports club in Europe and boasts a football section team that was
the first ever to play football in Rome
