George Edmund Street was teacher of Morris and Burne-Jones, celebrated exponents of the English Pre-Raphaelite movement
Heads in bronze and marble of members of the Roman imperial family of the first century were found in its foundation. They are now in the Centrale Montemartini Museum in Rome and in Baltimore
