End of 1500s for Alessandro Maurelli
It was bought in 1622 by Michelangelo Tonti and since then it was known as PALAZZO TONTI
Michelangelo Tonti left it as inheritance to the Scolopi family who decided to use it for the Collegio Nazareno (Nazarene College) instituted to educate the youth belonging to poor families, even if it was also attended by the youth belonging to noble families
It was enlarged in the years 1698/1712 by the architect from Siena Sebastiano Cipriani (about 1660/1740)
