It is now an airport both civilian and military

It is a city airport which absorbs most of the traffic of the low-cost airlines

In 2008 the volume of traffic was 4,788,931 passengers. In 2004 was about 2.500.00

There will be no further growth for the limitation to 100 daily flights established in 2007 when the traffic had reached nearly 5,500,000 passengers
